Headlight Switch Removal Tool
The headlight switch is a common failure in some BMWs, usually caused by an electrical short the dimmed lighting circuit somewhere in the car. This is often caused by a nick in the wiring of the illuminated shift knob. The short will cause the rheostat (headlight switch) to fail and require replacing.
The LeatherZ Headlight Switch Removal tool makes removal of the headlight switch a breeze. Our tool is made from billet aluminum and is an exact copy of the no longer available original BMW headlight switch removal tool. Removal of the headlight switch requires you to depress 2 tabs on the front side of the switch. The tool allows you to depress both tabs simultaneously.
